The Living Fuels team are celebrating after completing the Great Nottinghamshire Bike Ride 58 Mile Challenge on Sunday.
Ian Collins, Managing Director and Penny Reeve, Customer Services and PR Advisor were up far too early in the morning to take part in the 30th annual race, which supports various charities in the area. Taking in the rolling hills and beautiful scenery of the countryside the challenge led the team over hills and dales, around a winding route which they completed in under 5 hours. “It was a really fun day,” said Penny, “I wasn’t sure that I’d be able to complete the race, having never cycled anywhere near as far in the past, but knowing that I was doing something for charity and being able to enjoy the beautiful views at the same time was all the motivation I needed.”
This year all money raised is being split between CLIC Sargent, Cerebral Palsy Support, Nottinghamshire Scouts and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
