The team at Living Fuels donned their black ties and ball gowns last Thursday (14th July) for the MRW National Recycling Awards 2011.
Representatives from all over the waste management community attended the evening and were treated to a three course meal, a charity ‘casino’ and compering by comedian Marcus Brigstocke.

The awards are stretched over a vast array of retail, construction and energy fields, but also recognise the impact that local authorities and small businesses have on the recycling sector.

Although Living Fuels missed out on scooping the winning title of ‘Waste to Energy Provider of the Year’, a great night was had by all. Operations Director, Rob Murphy said of the awards, “It is a shame that we didn’t win, but an honour to have been nominated in such a great category and we all agree that it’s been a splendid evening. Our congratulations go out to Biogen Greenfinch.”
