Living Fuels are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted to win the ‘Recycling Awareness Campaign’ at this year’s Plant and Waste Recycling Show (PAWRS) Awards.
The company have been nominated for their three month used cooking oil recycling campaign in Wiltshire, which saw a massive 107% increase in cooking oil recycling in the county, based on the previous three month’s figures. Living Fuels and partner Hills Group were able to make a donation of £1,300 to local charity Wiltshire Air Ambulance, based on a donation of 25 pence per litre collected.
Living Fuels’ Operations Director, Rob Murphy, said of the nomination: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for such a great award. Living Fuels is really passionate about our cooking oil recycling campaigns and are delighted our Wiltshire charity drive is receiving recognition. We all have our fingers crossed for a win at the awards ceremony on 12 June.”
